Enhancing Assessment of Common Therapeutic Factors (ENACT)
Driven by growing evidence that non-specialist health workers have the capcity to deliver effective psychosocial support, our team co-designed ENACT as a tool through which to evaluate worker competency. The tool assesses providers' demonstration of a set of common factors- or helping behaviors- recognized as necessary to the effective delivery of any evidence-based intervention. Especially given it adaptation across country, context, and intervention type, the tool aims to enhance the size and quality of the global mental health workforce.
